Thomas Baty Ltd have joined the growing list of local food producers in becoming a member of Northumbria Larder, the North East's regional Food & Drink group.
From their website: "The aim of Northumbria Larder is to encourage, support and develop the aspirations of its members to produce the finest food and drink the region can offer..."
This ethos is one we at Thomas Baty Ltd wholeheartedly agree with. We source local produce and champion local producers whenever possible, keeping 'food miles' at a minimum. Our range of prepared vegetables is produced by our own team in the North East, our local suppliers include Nick Craigs of Tritlington Fresh Produce and David Dungait of M Dungait & Sons, and our customers include Tanfield Food and The Redemption Food Company - both also members of Northumbria Larder.
